As the acuity level of the patient population
continues to rise, common dysrhythmia recognition is becoming a vital
nursing skill at ALL levels. This program provides users with dynamic
on-screen ECG strips. They learn to: measure waves and intervals with
our on screen calipers, select the best leads for telemetry
monitoring, determine the proper way to examine an ECG strip. The
drill and practice module offers extensive practice in diagnosing all
basic rhythms. Feedback identifies common mistakes in differentiating
one rhythm from another. The post-test is an ideal tool for
competency testing.
Treatment modalities in Telemetry have been upgraded
to reflect the
new 2005 ACLS standards.
