This program has three components, a tutorial, a simulation, and a quiz. The tutorial reviews the physiology of breathing, 3 bottle chest tube demonstration, chest tube containers, assessment, setup, and chest tube basics. Learners enjoy the use of graphics animation and sound throughout the program. The simulation portion tests the learners ability to perform in a real life situation. At the conclusion of the program, randomly generated questions test the learner's understanding. As with all Medware programs, student information and test scores are automatically recorded to the disk for proper documentation.
