As the acuity level of the patient population
continues to rise, common dysrhythmia recognition is becoming a vital
nursing skill at ALL levels. These programs provide a sound basis to
learn ECG interpretation. Users learn Cardiac anatomy and
physiology, how to: measure waves and intervals with our on screen
calipers, select the best leads for telemetry monitoring, determine
the proper way to examine an ECG strip, Pacemaker identification and
troubleshooting. The drill and practice modules offer extensive
practice in diagnosing all rhythms. Feedback identifies common
mistakes in differentiating one rhythm from another. The post-test is
an ideal tool for competency testing.
All programs have been upgraded to reflect the new
2000 ACLS standards.
